Who we are
4Tee is a golf partner matching platform operated by 4Tee SRL, registered in Belgium. We help golfers find compatible playing partners based on handicap, location, availability, language, and playing style.

What data we collect
We collect the following information when you use 4Tee:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password when you register.
- Profile information: your handicap, play style, languages, city, and profile photos that you choose to share.
- Usage data: rounds you post, matches you request, messages you send, and your activity within the app.
- Device information: your device type, operating system, and browser for technical support purposes only.
We do not collect your precise GPS location. Your city is sufficient for matching purposes.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Match you with compatible golf partners based on your profile
- Enable communication between matched players
- Improve the matching algorithm and app experience
- Send notifications about new matches and messages
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We never sell your personal data to third parties. We never use your data for advertising purposes.
Who can see your profile
Other 4Tee users who are logged in can see your first name, handicap, city, play style, languages, profile photos, and completed rounds count.
Your email address is never visible to other users.
You can control your profile visibility in Settings → Privacy.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Your rights (GDPR)
As a resident of the European Union, you have the following rights:
- Right to access: request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: correct any inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: delete your account and all associated data
- Right to portability: receive your data in a portable format
- Right to object: opt out of certain data processing activities

Cookies
The 4Tee web app uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of 4Tee after changes means you accept the updated policy.
